When WBA come to town at least. And he was FREE! Surprised we weren't in for him at that price.

We actually have money now and don't need to pick up other teams' cast-offs on a free.

How things have moved on...
I was at his debut - I think it was Everton away at Goodison. iirc Pearce brought him on as a sub and put him on the left wing!
It was all down hill from there.

I was at his debut - I think it was Everton away at Goodison. iirc Pearce brought him on as a sub and put him on the left wing!
It was all down hill from there.

I thought he scored two goals against Sunderland on his debut. One with his left and one with his right.

It was much later on his City career that Pearce ruined him by playing him out wide.

His brace against Sunderland wasn't his debut.

Charlton at home was his first goal for us.
 
He is the right fit for West Brom and will do better than his spell with us.
