Yeah, I still enjoyed it. Sure it had many faults for those watching who take the subject matter seriously but as I don't, those faults weren't really that important.

I’ve not watched the dramatised series yet. I was hoping it was going to be like Band of Brothers and The Pacific. I take it it’s not?

Late to this but caught up with it over the last few days. Luckily didn't read this thread beforehand as it may have had me looking at it differently.
As a series, not to be taken as 100% truth, I thought it was decent and enjoyed it. Is there a second series planned?
