When I was a kid, I asked for a record player for my Christmas. To my never ending horror and dismay, it wasn’t a real one, I got a blue and yellow plastic one, that had batteries, it came with one 45. This was the song. Not a Slade, or T Rex, or Bowie, or Sweet, fuck I would have loved Mud or the Rubettes. But no, Old King Cole! Worst present ever.
