Stan Collymore

I thought he was an extremely gifted footballer who had all the attributes to be a genuine great, apart from one. It was the mental aspect which stopped reaching the heights which his talent merited.
Unplayable on his day, mainly at Forest and he absolutely destroyed us in his prime. With the right manager and team one of the most gifted forwards I've ever had the pleasure of watching play the game.
Not the first to make a big move and not succeed..
To move from Southend (?) to be part of the best forest side post Clough was a real achievement...Liverpool was a different kettle of fish.
Got a lot of time for the player..maybe not the person.
