Better late than never...

Made the journey to Stoke and it was really worth while. Got to see a new Spanish lad called Erik Sarmiento and he was excellent. Very skilful left-back. Glided forward past 3/4 challenges a few times. Very Alba-esque in that way. Not quite as fast, but still very impressive.

Thanks very much. Like the sound of talent plus work ethic. I hope some of these players get their chance and become stars!

Great insight as always. Who knows when Pep arrives maybe a couple of this u18 squad may leapfrog a few of the current EDS

Thanks for your great report.

The next two or three years should be really interesting to see who of all these talented youngsters will make a big breakthrough...and what a great name Sarmiento is by the way....haha!!!.

Cheers all. I suspect most of these will make up next season's EDS. The likes of Kongolo, Oliver, Humphreys, Fernandes and Buckley will most likely be too old anyway so promoted out of necessity. Sarmiento is actually going to be with the u19s and EDS anyway. This is just match practice.
