This is what’s beginning to piss me off. They always say “fans are desperate to get football back as soon as possible” but I’m not and I haven’t spoken to a single fan who is.

THEY are desperate because of the money yet again.

Agreed. I have kept in contact with all my walking football mates (all fans obviously) and none of them are that bothered for now....

Kev, I agree with you, I’m not desperate to get it back either, but then I’m not a football fan. I’m a City supporter through and through, but I’m not really interested in the wider game these days.
If I was a football fan, I’d be definitely be keen for it to return when safe, cos that’s what being a fanatic of something means I guess.

I listened to the first 5 mins ONLY to someone of no importance telling the screen that football coming back is what everyone want or need. Yep same with all my mates, not all blues & don't all go to games but nobody is yearning for it to start in the current climate.

same here spoke with my Chelsea and Spurs neighbours other day none of us are desperate to see football back until its safe. I asked the other day I haven't seen one survey that's backs up this claim that fans are desperate for a return.

I do enjoy the wider game. I’m gutted about the Euros and enjoy the German league every week but at the moment, I don’t think any of it should come back. You have the league’s top striker saying he’s scared to play. People are dying and others losing their livelihoods. My missus goes out to do her job as a care worker, my mate has gone to hospital last night with chest pains and meanwhile, some grubby business men are putting pressure on to play a game. It stinks to the high heavens. It isn’t the game I grew up loving. Us fans have truly been shown our place and we’re literally no longer at the table.
