If it is true though, I for one will miss Dr Shinawatra. And it goes to show, far from bankrupting the club, or running it into the ground, he's managed to make a us a truly desirable club for some of the richest investors in the world...

I remember I was in alicante, all us blues were already on a buzz of scraping through the europa league on penalties, were then in the bar next day and everyone was going mental that we'd been took over...next thing you know we've launched bids for robinho and berbatov. Bar shut at half 11 had to wake up early the next morning to see if we'd signed robinho. Happy Days.
