This was added in almost as a throwaway comment in one of the Elano stories I read yesterday, can't remember which one. Anyway, just wondered what the basis of it is if any of you In the Knowers know.

He hasn't been the best buy but I wonder if his performances have been affected by a lack of acceptance from his peers ?

he seems like a real twat from his comments to the media when he was at chelsea/bolton and on his performances on the pitch he's a real twat to other players, dont rate him at all and it was a shit buy.

<a class="postlink" href="http://www.tribalfootball.com/richards-stunned-ben-haim-during-man-city-defeat-218134" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://www.tribalfootball.com/richards- ... eat-218134</a> theres also this story, but tribalfootball so take it or leave it.

apparantley he's leaving:

I feel sorry for him. Seems bereft of confidence on the pitch, almost like he is not comfortable.

That's in no way defending Hughes' purchase of him

Mmmmm I wonder what camp these comments are coming from(odd being as he signed him), TBH really seems to look out of place in the PL, which of course is odd as he was a great success at Bolton, but every time I watch him, he looks poor(other than the Milan and PSG )

Against Santander he was shocking and should have been sent off for an elbow in the first half on their striker (the smaller one). If Fat Sam wants him get rid ASAP at whatever financial loss.
