I was born in the 80's, so didn't experience the club/gig scene in that period but I love alot of the music from this era, especially the early house stuff.

For me it was.bunnymen,new order,tears for fears,omd,joy division,,blancmange,the cure,.the stranglers. I know some bands started in the 70s but they were mainly successful in the 80s.i listen back now and I even like friggin duran duran,.some top soul tunes as well like Womack and womack.throw in grandmaster flash,spandau fuck even haircut 100.Some music has aged well some hasn't.but who gives a fuck,if you enjoy it, get it played.

70's. It was fun. Then the 60's. 80's were OK ish. After that "music" has become garbage.
