The Battle of Boundary Park - Good (Bad) Friday 1984

it was opposite me, but that was cos we'd already scaled the fence from behind the goal, and gone into the other long stand. I'd forgotten what year, but i'll never forget the ladder, or the copper trying to pull one bloke down off it.

Oh yessss
I remember it well Chaos from about 2.30 onwards
Kicking off everywhere
We scored, They Equalised Then Mick Quinn chipped in and they went ahead
Think we got a Penalty later as Kenny Clements brought down Parlane

But the day will be remembered as The Battle alright
Chaos unlimited

I remember the ladders and also loads of blues in the chaddy end battling

Was at that game, on the corner stand near "our" end, saw the ladder go up opposite, seats flying on to the pitch at the dibble, Oldham fans getting chased everywhere. City going into the Oldham end, Oldham score first and it's all limbs behind that goal. A pickpocket got tuned in on the stand we were on, he got a right hiding. Mental day. Outside the ground was like a war zone.
