The Best Beatles song

The simple answer is there isn't a best one. There's some shit ones though.. What Goes On, Yellow Submarine, ObladiOblada, Revolution Number 9 to name but 4. Still leaves over 200 classics though! :)

I've been listening to the early stuff recently and I have to say that With the Beatles is my fave album at the mo. Next month it'll probably be Abbey Road though - that's the way it works with the Beatles.

ps. Interesting fact. My dad's uncle Ernie used to live in John Lennon's house 251 Menlove Avenue, Woolton.

has anyone been on the beatles tour?

if so, do they recomend it? i always thought it would just be a boring trip around liverpool

my dad has just asked me if i wanted to go sometime during the week, but i would like to hear people's veiws on it

The fact that everyone (everyone sensible, so that excludes the spammers) has made very different lists shows just how diverse and amazing the Beatles were - whatever your taste, they pretty much catered for it. I love the Stones, but apart from a few ballads and some country-rock, their music was all pretty much R&B.

Anyway, a few of my favourites:
