I'd 1-6 be a United fan right now
Here, we can make bold predictions for the upcoming season. Ideally, they won't be as blindingly obvious as "someone will win the league" and "John Terry will be a cnut" etc.

Later on during the season, we can dig this thread back up and either say "I told you so", or "what the hell were you talking about, you strange person?". The latter will probably feature more.

Oh, and just because the word has more than one meaning, you can also make your predictions in a bold font, because then it means I've made a double entendre. Haha.

So here we go:

Torres will remind us all that he's capable of being one of the most lethal finishers in world football, and will finish the league on 20+ goals in all competitions.

Spurs will get to the Europa League final.

Manchester United will finish above Manchester City in the league, but lose to them in a cup competition.

Barcelona will not win the Champions League.

Newcastle will finish in the top 8.

Sunderland will be drawn into a relegation battle.

As I like to say; be creative.

Liverpool will not finish in the top 4.

A team from outside the Premier League will make the semi-finals of the Carling Cup.

Manchester City will finish above Manchester United.

David de Gea will be a flop, but only in the 2011-2012 season.

Barcelona will win La Liga by 15 points.

QPR will stay up.

Manchester city will finish above manchester united but below chelsea

Fernando Torres will be the top scorer in the league next season

da gea will implode a-la tiabi

liverpool will win fuck all

everton will finish and be in the bottom half for most of the season

Ben arfa will be a revelation in the premier league next season

ashley young will flop
