The Britainnia pub? openshawe/bradford/ardwick

Ive just found out my great uncle ran this place. Apparently, he played for city's reserves in the thirties or forties. Anyone remember this place? His name was Tom smith.

there was so many pubs along ashton new road and old road in the 30's 40's 50's all gone now.i myself dont remember it from openshaw and im 50 may have been ardwick.

Looks like it might , at one time , have been in Openshaw , but this is all i can find that even mentions the place ...... and the Manchesteronline link involved sadly had nothing in it!
