Toying with the idea of getting one.

There's a local company knocking them out.

https://swiftyscooters.com

and have seem a few fellas riding them recently.
They seem a lot safer than bikes and less cumbersome.

I only live about 3 miles from town where I work and probably wouldn't take much longer to get in than to fight the peak time traffic.

Would give me amother option when going down to the local for a gill also.

Anyone got one or got any views on them.

and this is why I will never make it big in business, I always think that adults have a little bit of common sense, never in my daftest brainstorming sessions would I have thought that an adult could be conned into buying a 7 year olds toy thinking it is 'in'.

Just because a photo shows a bloke hairy calf muscles stood on his sons scotter, allegededly in 'the hills' doesn't mean it is the new must have. You lot moan that you can't buy a house but you waste your money on toys !!!

As the kids say NOPE!
I wouldn't be seen dead on one.
If you want to be a hipster, get a trendy fixie or single speed for half that price.
I ride a Cyclocross single speed by Bombtrack bikes, and not only does it look "cool" it's tough as fuck, tested on mountain bike trails, and after having it for 18 months, it's still not needed any service or repairs ( unlike myself) and I'm 6'2" 95kg and given the bike a thorough pounding.

Thanks for that.
All I want the transportation for is getting from A-B a bit quicker but not in a car and a bike is a bit scary for me given some of the tossers on the road.
In things and being hip is really not a consideration. Don't give a flying fook about that.
