Theo Walcott, would you have him at City?

Why are so many City fans against us singing this guy? ....Exellent pace on the wing, scores goals (much better finisher than Sterling or Navas) .... very good quality backup striker for Aguero and he's homegrown and surely would be cheaper than Sterling, not as young but still only 26 ....

Slight risk because of injuries but I'm still struggling to see the negatives if we can get him for a decent price ...

We'll never beat the price we could have bought him for in the Pearce / Wigley days.. £300k we could have had this kid for from Soton

I'd leave well alone now, flat track bully when not injured

Haha Walcott and bully in the same sentence!!!

Anyway, he has real quality about him, he is like navas only faster, better finisher, younger ( I think) and home grown. No brainer for the right price say £10-15m?

He's absolutely shite.

He's not though, is he?

More league goals in league 442 minutes this season than Navas has in his past 3 years.

Great option for a 4-3-3 transition; keep him fit and he'll be an asset to any top 4 team.

Lets take away his hattrick the other day, then he's kinda crap in term of stats.

Another squad player. Taking the place of academy players.

No.

If he's better, which he very clearly is, what's wrong with that?

He'd be an excellent buy if he became available. A potentially good price given his contract status, can play upfront or on the wing. offers something no other player in our squad currently does which is a willing runner in behind the defence, can score and assist, and fills a slot in the HG quota. He's a much better option than Navas. I've said before we shouldn't be signing squad players, only world class players this summer but given his homegrown status i think we should make an exception for him. Silva playing the ball inside the fullback for Walcott to run onto, squaring for an incoming Aguero to tap in. I can see plenty of goals there.

Footballing wise, no problem. But i think his injury risk is more than slight, if history tells us anything.
We cannot afford any more sick notes. IMO
