Good strong session today.
I haven't seen the lads being put through that kind of session for quite a while, SWP and Micah were missing but will be out on Thursday with the team.
Zab appeared late on with Adam Clayton and Benjani, they don't think Zab's as bad as they first thought, probably no this weekend though.
Really good fitness sessions followed by ball work in the shape of 7 a side games with keepers, Robbie claimed it was like pre-season to which Damian (fitness coach) replied true but in pre-season there would be no rest! It was based on 1 partner doing about 120mt sprint (2x60) whilst the other did a short burst with markers on the floor to run to, very good and very, very tough the winner was first back.
De Jong has a large strapping on his right leg but was fine but Vinnie seems to still be a little bothered by his toe problem but carried on.
Very impressed today, a really good session, plenty of good banter between them but bloody hard work to go with it.
