Is is naive to think that all the groundwork should have been completed since the closure of the last transfer window. Hughes should be making his intentions known to the rest of the Premiership, although he let Diarra slip through the net, I would imagine strenghtening the squad for the remainder of the league & the FA Cup campaign would be his priorities & get in before the opposition.
