The 'Boy' and 'War' albums are superb.The rest of their stuff sounds like generic middle of the road rock and therefore is shite.
Bonio himself is a self important twat who,like Geldof,tells us how to live because 'the planet is dieing,man' and then fucks off in his big plane.
And the 'Edge' is no more on the edge than David Cameron is.

I once attended an after-pub house party where the only music played over the speakers was a U2 album ...... it killed the mood stoned dead , and i couldn't wait to get the fuck outta there!

Great band up until Rattle & Hum/Joshua tree. Couple of good singles since but so hard to hear Bono's voice cos his heads up his own arse!!!
