Don't think any clubs want a Super League. They will just use it as leverage against UEFA so that action is taken against ourselves & PSG. There is the same kind of issue regarding the FA. If we are not sanctioned, Liverpool & Utd will threaten to pull out of the next TV deal & go their own way. This will panic the smaller PL clubs as the new TV deal would be a fraction of the current one.

Greg Norman and Fox tried this in golf 25 years ago and it didn't work out too well.

When judgement was given in the Bosman case UEFA, who claimed that European law was irrelevant as it was a football matter, was warned very bluntly that in cases of dispute the matter would be decided according to what the law was, not according to what UEFA saw as its own or football's best interests.

Northcroft on Sunday Supplement intimated that this was the case and, in fact, the number of pages about to be released about Utd completely dwarfs the number of pages about City. I think he mentioned 1.8 million articles but I wasn’t really paying too much attention!

It will be mildly interesting to see how some on this forum change their mind about what is legal and illegal, in terms of leaks or hacks, if the spotlight begins to shine on Trafford......

It could also be interesting to see how those asking for our heads on a platter respond if it comes out their club has also engaged in allegations of “nefarious” activity “worthy” of punishment.
