United Thread - 2023/24

So I keep hearing how the rags are going to ship out up to 10 players this summer, how do they do that with the contracts these players are on ( no one will match them ) also the cost of the players, the loss they will take will be over 100 million.

Many of them are on crazy wages - so United will have to pay them off to get them out of the door. The losses they will suffer this summer on a serious squad clear out will be eye watering but the press will cover it up and make it look like prudent financial management.

Goldbridge shouldbe be treated with anymore respect than when you watch an actor on coronation street because he too is an actor, a character. His whole role and performance is to get likes, clicks and attention.

Just enjoy his acting display and let him go back to being brent DeSesar (or whatever his actual name is), a forest fan from nottingham

Still cant believe any body gives any credence to what he says.
Hes not real!!!!
To be fair, still more insightful than listening to Owen, Wio, McManeman, Ginger Pig, Stephen Warnock etc etc etc :-)

Edit: FFS - how did I manage to leave Rat-Boy off the list. Many apologies all............

I'm sure Scruffy Jim can make a contribution as the twat is a tax dodger.

Small beer for a man who is worth £26bn.

The press will cover it up by saying it's an essential expense required to prune the squad for the dawn of the Scruffy Jim era. He's running the football side so it's OK.
They will not consider why the rags have to get rid of these ten players when every one of them has been hailed as the new fan-kicking ****, the new liver-wasting, wife-beating ****, the new sister-in-law-shagger, the new Duncan Edwards and the new bald ticket tout.
Almost every player in their squad has been lauded to an unbelievable degree just because they play for the rags and the over-hyping is forgotten about once they leave.
The owner is Rat-cliffe the players are rat-shit. - We know a song about how shit they are.

He doesn’t even have that. He can kick the ball hard, with limited accuracy.
Exactly.

And Greenwood was/is Exactly the same, has no other ability than to blast the ball towards goal every time he finds himself with the ball in and around the area, and perhaps one in 10 of his attempts actually goes in.

Mate, I really appreciate all the effort you have put in to your post. Thanks for all the hard work done on the post.

Just to make things easier for us oldies, maybe put a few paragraphs in. It.makes your post so much easier to read.

just watched goldbridge ranting saying the hand on rashford by walker without any pressure was definitely a foul and in the same sentence the arm by hojlund which pulled rodri back in the derby was definitely not a penalty. also saying the tackle by ederson which he got the ball first was a penalty and that over the top tackles by casemiro and liverpools jones where they skimmed the ball then got the shins were not as bad as edersons tackle. i do not believe he believes this but just says garbage like this for views and to feed into a very clear anti city agenda
As I just put in the post-match thread on the main forum, he’s playing to his audience.

The rags, who watch his crap, will lap it up as gospel.

Whatever Goldbridge/di Cesare is, he is not an idiot.

Nor, I’d imagine, is he very poor.
