no, the ball has to cross the entirety of the goal-line inside the post.
if the goal post had no netting you could roll the ball around the post with the ball till touching the post is it a goal
That is right but you mentioned side netting :p
But yes in your new scenario it would probably confuse the beeper into going off but it is unlikely that football goals will ever be without nets for it to happen.

How many clubs have a big screen?It must be transparent. Put it on the big screen, mic up the refs. If only there was a sport close to home that does it right so we could replicate it.

Var wont make the game fair though as shown with its trails in italy, australia, portugal and seria a.Get with the times. Far too much money involved.
