I think the main problem with socialism is that intertia eventually sets in. The system stifles creativity and risk, even though it’s ostensibly fairer.

I also think we’ve got the balance wrong in the West, though. Big business carries the whip hand too much. Governments need to come together to combat this a little, as this is a force that needs better containing.
