Hope this hasn't been posted already, but a big Blue mate of mine who recently started driving buses in Manchester, sent me a text last week with the following picture attachment:

It's the new road constructed where Maine Rd used to be just off Maine Road itself, he said when he saw it he got off the bus to the bemusement of the passengers and just had to take a pic.

When you say it's gone, what do you mean? that someone stole the road sign?

Because the road is on Google Maps, so that will exist forever.

dont know mate, drove past i hour ago and its not there any more,thats all i can say ,idid remark to my lad when i first spotted the sign that it was too low the plot thickens.

Im a bit disappointed with the names near the old Maine Road to be honest. They could have been a lot more relevant to city and the history of the club.
