Deffo picked up a knock in the tackle then but he's gone off injured now, suppose they don't want to take any risks with it being only being the cup and La Liga being more important

Can we stop trying to psychologically evaluate the actions of every big player we have been linked with? He's not coming, get over it.

there was no emotion towards fans if it is to be his last game thought might make bit more fuss
 
That was the risk. Do you think if a big money bid hinged on him they would have sent him out unfit in a copa del rey game, they would've taken it?

If it was a done deal then absolutely no chance he would play whether it was a game in La Liga or in the cup
