I think one of your main problems is, you play Kane who is your most natural striker, but he ends up practically in midfield collecting the ball.
He is used for the link up to the forward line, as the likes of Henderson can’t do it.
When he does take it as the link you have no one up front.

Southgate should trust Foden and perhaps the likes of Grealish to come inside and collect the ball. I mean surely Bellingham and Rice could place a pass to them. Leave Kane up around the box.


And get Rashford off.
