As soon as Guardiola decides to move, Arsenal would be crazy not to go for him. Same respect for the youth policy as Wenger but without the stubbornness and poor sportsmanship. Guardiola isn't afraid to splash out big money on a player to improve his side. Wenger's unflexible ideology has cost Arsenal many trophies in recent years when they could have been adding to their trophy cabinet with some good buys.

Wenger gets a bad rep for not spending money. I do wonder if he has been given big money to spend in recent years. Since they moved into the new stadium the money has dried up. I honestly think it is more of a limit on the money he has been given and he has done the best with what is there. Like who in there right mind would not sign a new keeper it is a case of him not having the funds to sign a top keeper and defender that is killing him. Thats why most of his signing have been Bosman and under £10 million since the move no major signings. The new fella who wants control may well give out the money but what he signs over the years have went on and they made a huge profit on those players. So he has a eye for a player Arsenal would be crazy to get rid of him all they are short of is a keeper a Vieria type midfielder and a centre half they missed Vermalen big time this season.

Mancini was heavily linked with being a future Arsenal Manager when he left Inter. Wenger is growing more stubborn and delusional by the season. I hope he packs it all in and Arsenal can't find a replacement.

Well, they're doing pretty well without those already. They're presently 2nd in the league and above big spending City and Chelsea.
