West Ham 2016/17

I was laughing about it until I was reminded we need Spurs to put on a good performance against the rags. Looks like they might have nothing to play for when Maureen's bus turns up.

No disrespect to the teams we are going to face but if we can't match united and arsenal in our last four then we don't really deserve champions league footy next year

It's Spurs last game at WHL. No team would put in a piss poor performance in those circumstances.

Correct, but given that we've already dropped points at home (and away) against very mediocre opponents I'm not exactly confident.

Of course how could I forget. No team would put in a poor performance in their final game at their old stadium.
Saints v Arse - won 3-2 after being 2 down at The Dell. Stoke beat WBA 2-1 in the final game at the Victoria Ground, The Arse beat Wigan 4-2 in the final game at Highbury and last season West Ham beat the rags 3-2 in the final game at the Boleyn Ground.
I'm sure some other team has moved in the past 20 years though.

Fair play to you sir. You still have a hell of a lot to be happy about this season and having the inevitable settled now can be a good thing. You can play with freedom and please the fans a good bit imo.
Thanks mate it's been a great season. I should be gutted but I'm not. If we had been 8 points clear then I'd be probably be swearing non stop. Obviously we've not gone up and down the ladder like your lot or Marks team and had to deal with as much shit, but at the end of the day, since I've been watching Spurs where I could understand it (1987 ish) we've only won 3 medals, so my expectation levels are never that high. I said to my mate last night I was more disappointed losing the Europa which we could have won. Now United and their boring style will probably win it. This season has been one of the most exciting for me, I love the football, the style, Intensity and aggression shown. It won't be like that at Wembley though

I've despised Haringey for a long time ever since they were the MANUre of MotD in the 60s.. Funny though! Daughter Ewing lives in Narf Landon and when yer bump into folk and tell 'em they must be an Arse fan, Barnet fan, FCMoston fan they always seem to say Tottenham, and they are pleasant folk and they seem to have no baggage as far as God's Own Team is concerned.
I'll just never forget being 7 year old in the wembley replay. Broke my heart, then hearing Spurs are on their way to Wembley solidly for weeks after really sealed that hatred..and it's never waned. However, it's nowt compared to the way I feel about them B******S!! ha ha

I have a similar feeling about NUFC. I was eight when Whore Jackie Milburn scored in the 55 final. Every time we've battered 'em since I always say "That's for '55!"
