Weather observations for Manchester City on Sunday afternoon.

You can find as many gifs as you like but my evidence trumps the rest.

Case closed.

A competent jury would find in my favour although we might have trouble finding one;

You are still not getting the point that a lot of our fans and aways fans, plus some working at the stadium travel from way out side the Manchester area where weather conditions were extremely dangerous. Why should those fans who travel from afar be penalised in not being able to travel to the game just cause they can't walk to the stadium in 20 minutes?

The government could have helped by saying due to the storm approaching on Sunday all sporting event scheduled for that day are cancelled. They could have done this on Friday morning. This would have been a big hep both to the supporters and all the other officials and staff off these venues.

If the rearranged game is in midweek, a number will have even bigger problems going to the game.

It will be mid week no doubt about it, and I can only imagine the travel and logistical nightmare should they decide a 6pm kick off on a CL night as is being touted.

The most sensible time is Tues/Weds next week but we all know the FA/PL (and some times City) don’t think sensibly

How would people have felt if they’d gone ahead with the game, but played it behind closed doors?

Reimbursed fans and, if possible, done a deal with Sky to show it on one of their free channels ?

it would have been expensive for the club in the short term, but if it had smoothed the path to winning the cl would more than have paid for itself.

Probably impractical as a few thousand fans would still have turned up and demanded to get in. But in theory a good or bad idea?
