It's only the FA Cup.

Winning it hardly did wonders for the Pomps, did it?

It's a meaningless competition these days, until they attach something worthwhile as a prize, like a Champion's League place.

its not getting beat in the fa cup that has pissed most of us off ,its getting murdered by a struggling side that has worried us
i met up with a forest lad who said they didnt play particularly well today and they have played better.
as a city fan any competition -especially the cup is realistic for us to challenge

It was the nature of the defeat more than the exit of the competition which hurts.

That explains it then. Those souls that froze themselves for about 90 (or less) can expect an apology from the club and a refund of all monies expended for attending a meaningless match, in a meaningless competition. Pity the club didn't tell everyone beforehand it was meaningless.
