I am booked to go in a couple of weeks, has anybody been before?
I have been told it fairly pretentious?

It is lovely food. Costly though.

When i first went I thought they must think im someone im not, shaking my hand and providing me with a private booth. Just the way they do things though.

Sven ate in there alot and Richards Wright Phillips and Titus Bramble have been seen eating together.

I've been a few times but not for a while. The food is pretty good and not as expensive as you probably expect.

I had scallops as the starter and crispy beef for mains and twas lovely jubbley! Check the menu out as attached for prices

Never been , but have read a few reviews .....

a diner who went in October said he paid £4-40 for a small bottle of tiger beer , and said the food was a fair bit 'pricier' than other city centre chinese restaurants .... so id take a bit of extra money with me if i were you ...... and especially as other diners appear to confirm that the prices are a bit higher than average .

The food reviews for this FIVE STAR restaurant that i read appear varied ....... the vast majority said that the food and the service was very good , even excellent ...... but one or two others didn't find it quite so good , and one actually returned his food , and complained to the staff , because his 'beef tasted like water'!

You can get a rough idea with prices on menus etc ... but with drinks on top.... etc etc lol :o)
Should I take my autograph book?? Lol

used to go in quite regularly, but have vowed never again, after Wing shafted us on a Christmas Party booking afew years ago, so that he could accommodate the rags instead.
