The grimmest of the grim first half. Bit of a mix 'n match starting eleven. In the Lyon first leg game Georgia and Izzy came on as subs and set the whole game buzzing. They started tonight but it was a bit of a damp squib. We were virtually second best at everything in the first half. It was one of those games where you think the opposition have a couple more players on than you do. Second half was a different kettle of coconuts. Much more urgency, more robust challenges, but, oh, that chance at the end. Perhaps she's saving it for the final. The goalkeeper would have been delighted with the save. If I were to say that Birmingham were not very good it's a measure of how lacklustre we were. What is impressive, though, is Campbell's throw ins! Whhoooooooo!

Don't rate this Lloyd. Certainly not playing at the expected level. Lucy Bronze is the best right back at the club.

She's made them an all round worse side, despite supposedly being the best in the world in her position
Think she is in the team and at the club to raise the profile of the womens game, more than anything

Strange one really.It's possible she hasn't helped the team become better as they look to her and maybe expect something special from her which hasn't really happened. But I do think she is a class above pretty well all our attacking talent.

I suspect she's been bought for branding purposes. She isn't the player she was.
