Will there be a thread for the England Japan match? FWIW I can post a team preview from the Japan side.

So sorry to hear Hemp had to withdraw with a thigh complaint. Hope it’s just precautionary and she’ll recover soon.
 
Complete dominance by England, comfortable win. Kelly providing crosses and a goal with her left. Morgan solid in the back line, and congrats to Parker.

Terrible for Japan, Hasegawa just about the only player in the squad who can do something in this intensity.
 
Kelly's best game this season. Hopefully she can carry that for through to her club now. Should've had about 3 assists but for woeful finishing from the ragette up front. Happy for Morgan to get her first start and a clean sheet and for Jess Park to come on & score in the dying minutes was just the icing on the cake.

We had 5 players competing for the 2 wide forward spots. It's better for Park's development to go elsewhere to get the regular game time she wouldn't have got with us. Hemp & Kelly were nailed on to start the season and Raso was first option as replacement. She would, at best, have been 4th choice so she was loaned to Everton as part of the MacIver deal as we were also short a goalkeeper. It's a good deal that works for all involved.
