Being transgender isn't a choice, the only choice involved is usually whether or not to take steps towards transitioning, live a life of extreme depression, or commit suicide. Transgender individuals have a 50% suicide attempt rate, mostly down to the way culture views them as 'the worst kind of men/women'.

Being transgender doesn't make you gay/straight/bi/poly, it's a seperate thing. It's an identity issue.
