Well thats a very selfish thing to say isn't it. Believe it or not some players love playing for their country and a world cup in Brazil is something they really want to play in. You need only look at how some of the injured players this season were crying knowing they're missing it. All this "club before country" shit is bollocks because if players like Silva, Aguero, Toure were offered the choice between a cup final for City or a world cup final they'd pick the world cup every time.
