X-Wing/TIE Fighter re-release

Apparently these are getting re-released very soon so that you can play them on modern PC's. It's about time! Two of my favourite PC games of all time. No updates or re-boots, just the good old fashioned mid 90's games for around $10 each via download. Wow. Nothing official from Disney yet, but it's being leaked all over fairly reliable sources.

Only played Tie Fighter, but that was such a great game. Loved doing all the secret missions.

I remember I bough a special edition of X-wing but couldn't get it to work as it required a joystick. Do you know if it still requires this?

Just downloaded both. Only started Xwing again, but yes it did need a joystick. Just amazing and enjoyable games. I'm going to have to dig out the old guide that tells you if you attack this freighter, it triggers two star destroyers to appear. My free time is officially no more.

Will have to have a look for texture packs/mods when I get home, missed out on those two but heard they were fantastic
