Complaint to BBC regarding Pete the Badge

Originally from Lancashire, lived in Accrington when I knew him travelling on the specials in the 80's.
Then moved down to London as he got a job at Heathrow when he couldnt get work up here.
To the OP he doesn't have learning difficulties at all, just an all round top bloke.

Simon Stone was making snide remarks during the game on the BBC live feed, no idea if he made this comment though, wouldn't put it past him
As I posted earlier he had told my son he has Aspergers. Whether that is a learning difficulty its hard to say as there are many levels of it as there are with Autism. I know a friends son who was diagnosed with Aspergers and obsessed a bit with history and politics, who got help at school and is now half way through a History degree. Maybe it was something he had identified in later years. But either way as you say top bloke.

This photo of Pete the Badge was on the BBC MOTD Facebook page:

Note the caption, calling him 'Bertie' rather than Pete. Everyone knows Pete, who is the most harmless person you could possibly meet. I believe he also has mild learning difficulties yet the BBC chooses to mock him. No fate is too gruesome for the despicable idiot who did this.

I'm suggesting tax avoidance (which you mentioned in the first place) is fine and not illegal.

You've only just brought evasion into it now.

No, you are mistaken. We've been concerned about tax evasion throughout.

You simply confused the issue by talking about tax avoidance, which scamming £2,000 by not paying your BBC license fees for 20 years, most certainly is not.

That's not true either.

Fuck me you are hard work at times. You know full well that "normal use" of a TV requires a TV license. Do I REALLY have to cut and paste 5 pages of small print so that you don't pick me up on some nuance???

Your original fucking post said tax avoidance, not evasion so wind it in.

As PB said, this isn't the thread for it.

Yes, it is. What you describe is tax avoidance.
Which is what you referred to on page two

So we can all pay a bit more. Well done, er not.

Where do you live, by the way. And what's your IP address again?

Honestly the absolute SHIT people get (and rightly so) about tax avoidance in this country and here you are bragging about it. This is something we ALL have to pay if we want to own a TV and it's not big and not clever avoiding it.

My final post on the matter.

It's true in principle. I didn't realise you had to post pages of small print and disclaimers, which would divert from the point of the post:

If you want to watch TV in the UK, you need to pay for a TV license. You know that very well.
You do NOT need a license if you watch catch up tv on itv, channel 4 or 5,and that is from the BBC web site.So your statement above is wrong, you need to get your facts right.

Not another one. I despair at times, I really do.

TBH i think its fantastic having the good old BBC over,,would you like me to PM you my full name and address so you can make a call and report me, just for you i will record their visit on my mobile and send it to you so you can masterbate away while doing a bit of net twitching

does it fucking matter if someone is not paying the bbc,
THIS IS ABOUT PETE THE BADGE SO WIND YOUR NECKS IN AND GET BACK TO PETE

Disgraceful. I've sent my complaint too. We really should refuse to do MotD interviews with them until an apology on their programme is forthcoming. It's basically cyber bullying by the national broadcaster.

Well done Prestwich Blue for bringing it up, writing a brilliant email and getting a quick response. Hopefully it will stay at that level and not be given to Kloss to deal with.

Complaint Summary: MockingTweet

Full Complaint: I wish to complain in the strongest terms about the Match of the Day tweet which I have attached a screenshot.

This tweet was posted with the intention of mocking a lifelong football supporter who has put more into football than your pathetically biased programme ever will. This gentleman follows City all over the country and it does not take a genius to work out that he has some social difficulties and to be mocked led by your official Twitter feed is a disgrace.

To further go on a call him "Bertie" which as the idiot who posted this knows full well is a disparaging term for Man City fans is contemptible.

Please forward me the details of how to make a formal complaint to the Director General as I am fully aware that this complaint will receive little, or any, attention and will receive, if I am lucky little more that a generic response.

Thoroughly disgusted with the BBC today.

Just made a complaint to BBC. I think that was me that had just walked by on the photo. Said hello to Pete.
I have a tv licence.

Would hope the club refuse to do any interviews etc with the bb****il they apologises.

Pete is such a lovely bloke. One of my endearing memories of Maine road was always bumping into him Lloyd street after the game and mithering him for the scores because he always had his blue radio held to his ear.

Just to add to my previous post I saw him in Asda a few years ago before a game. Two rags were mocking him, both ironically wearing rag tops. I was with my son so didn't say anything but United were live on TV at the time and here's these clowns shopping in Asda, clearly wearing rags tops for attention, and not even following their team on TV whilst mocking a supporter who's been to more grounds than they've seen their team on TV.
