Still in the hat and another game should keep us in tune for the big games coming up in the premiership.
I know they are not the flavour of the month but I am more concerned about how long Kolorov , Clichy and Kompany will not be available.
The injury list is growing which to me is the only thing of concern right now.
The pitch was not ideal for our game of passing hence the longer balls that were by and large aimless and gave them easy possession.

Sounds like a man easily impressed. I thought we were poor for much of the game. Back 4 and Bravo did OK, but Nolito, Delph and Navas are just irredeemable lightweights. An awful lot of wrong options taken. Main thing is we're in the hat for the next round. I'm not usually one for squawking about not playing the kids, but 16 years old and physically lacking or not, Sancho or Foden couldn't have fared much worse than one or two of our regular reserves today
No one is pretending that was a wonderful performance by a starting team lacking Gundogan, Silva, Kompany, Sagna, Silva, Yaya, KDB, Sane, Jesus and Sterling but however you want to score the performance, we were the better team in every regard but the rough stuff and there is no denying we have a lot of lightweights in that regard; which is something that Pep will hopefully have taken into account when compiling his wishlist for the summer transfer window.

Still in the cup. Only 4 teams who would be tough left in. We now have a home game - possibly two games from Wembley. Good result that.
We all know these games are never easy. A full up for it crowd baying for an upset and players playing out of their skins against one of the big boys. Having said that I am disappointed the players we put out there couldn't beat a championship's second string. The positive is we are still in the cup.

If Chelsea's finishing is as shite as ours, they could go out.
We had a lot less than our usual number of fuckups in spite of Kolarov being dogshite & Stones pissed.

I agree. It's basically just habit that people turn to Fernando but are willing to let off Fernandinho etc.Seen a few people knocking Fernando; is that just based on old prejudice or watching the game because I thought he was our MotM.
