Why does every manager at City becoming scared of using young players. To not even have Garcia on the bench is very poor from Pep. Do far this season even Pellegrini had played them more no?
It's the quarter final of the cup playing away at a fixture that could easily trip us up. Playing young players should rightly be low on the priority list. These young players will get their chance in the coming seasons if they're good enough.

Should have stuck with big Willy, no need to rotate keepers
Don't forget it goes to pens today

Why has this become the normal view since the rag ****s destroyed the intergrity of this competition..?

We play a team that wants to win the cup. As someone else as posted bring the youth through in drips and when ready.

its must be because either Kompany himself or Pep is fearful he could break down again and leave us short in a match
If that was the case we wouldn't put him on the bench, better to start him and use one sub taking him off than to use one to bring him on and another to take him off 10 minutes later.

BT's preview show has just come up with this little gem, "The hosts will welcome back a familiar face to the Etihad in Alvaro Negredo."

Brilliant!
F*ck me - I could have gone to the Etihad - when did the fixture change ? - ....?????........Lol

Garcia should arguably be in on merit, otherwise I'd agree.

I know but it's not like Garcia has been bad when given the chance and we have an imo even more important game midweek.

Hah, took me a few minutes :) Should have remembered our cup handicap.

top 4 should be a priority over FA Cup. Yes the team the other day should have been good enough, though Sterling and Silva from start would have been better. I'm moaning because I'm still cut from the other night. Maybe a good thumping today will make me feel better!

i can't see us not finishing in the top 4 tbh. an fa cup for me comes ahead of a top 4 finish any day, after all the years of winning f all. yea hopefully we win today mate.

Good to see such a strong team - only minor carp would be Garcia not being on the bench.
Start well, with proper intent and urgency, and we'll piss it.

I want to believe you but chasing every trophy now I'm not sure.if that academy was at another club 3/4 would be regular first teamers by now

You don't think Garcia is ready to even be on the bench? He's done very well when given the chance and with CL coming up in a few days should maybe rest Yaya or KDB for him. And if he doesn't get time today I can't see him festuring for us for the rest of the season unless we get loads of injuries.
