We were desperately poor there in the league last season, very flat and slow. We need the complete opposite of that and hopefully Pep gets them well up for it. If we are then i think we can win this comfortably. However I've always hated playing at the emirates and highbury so never really go into these games with any confidence.

1-1. We'll give a silly goal away and it'll take 20 chances to then get one back. Be the same against Chelsea.

I am a bit more optimistic but sadly you are probably right. However, two draws would not be a disaster two defeats can be classed as a serious setback.
Both in terms of top four but also laying down markers for the future in the cup and next season.

6 consecutive away clean sheets domesticlay and unbeaten since everton away in the league! Against a team that has lost 4/5 we should be fully confident of picking 3 points up there!

last ten games at the tarqiuins W2 D5 L3 , not sure that is as dire some people are trying to make out , how many other teams have gone to their midden and have only lost three of the last ten visits ?
Le voyeur will have his band of merrymen up for this game , the likes of Ozil , Walcott , Ramsey (if fit) can raise their game for the big matches , if we give them an early goal i can see jeremy and jemimah gooner putting their pimms to one side and getting behind their team instead of constantly moaning , so a draw wouldnt be the end of the world.

A win would be a huge boost in the race for the top four, but I agree that a draw would be a decent result. I'd probably take it if offered it now.

If these were another times (i.e. without FA corruption) I'd predicted a City comfortable win.

BUT, we'll outplay them tarquins, dozen of chances either missed or wrongly flagged offside, a couple of obvious blatant stonewall penalties waved away, the library will be as silent as ever, more empty seats at the EmiRats than at Etihad that nobody will be counting; and... enter middle stage a corrupt ref that acting under FA instructions will fuck us up again with whatever is available to his crafts.

One nil to the Arses, unless...

Our league record at Arsenal is absolutely dire. One win in the last 42 years I think.

Christ that is a dire stat! its these sort of games that we need to start winning, against the bigger boys. would be nice to beat the dippers at anfield as well to be honest!

I take it you won't be going or watching then?

Decided to start adding polls to the pre-match threads to gauge people's views on how the game will go.

If Sanches turns up, then we're f**ked. If he sulks or doesn't play, I can see us taking all three points.

Not sure how you come up with that. He ain't Messi, nor Ronaldo
He can't win them games on his own against the bigger sides just by 'turning up' or putting more effort in
A good/great player of course, but are you suggesting he didn't turn up when they got slapped 10-2 on aggregate against Munich?
He is one of the best players in the league, but he has been a part of a team who always finds a way to lose and get humiliated on more than a few occasions during his time with Arsenal
Him turning up doesn't in the slightest mean we are fucked when he is supported by Iwobi Walcott and Welbeck, come on.

Impossible to predict as we are likely to be 3-0 up by HT as we are to be blow away early Ala Monaco, Leicester
I would say at this stage of the season, with CL places up for grabs, these are two of the top sides who would rather die going blow for blow than cancelling each other out
We have 2 huge games against these coming up and from a short sighted view I would rather win at Wembley and head on to the FA Cup final, but we just cannot afford to miss out on the CL

I'm worryingly confident about this one.
Absolutely. Unless we give an early goal away it won't take long for the crowd to start turning if we dominate the ball like we know we can. Suspect at the back IMO if we get Lerory and Raheem flying at them they will crack.
