Wouldn't mind seeing rumble win but that get paid parlay is close :) I crush MMA betting. Tae Kwon Do world champion here. It's in the eyes. You can tell in the eyes who's got it.

I should clarify it's all in the eyes in marginal decisions. I just got that feel after fighting at championship levels. I wanna get back in the game. BAD. im 32 though

Not gonna dog on him for retiring if his reasons are legit, but it's disappointing knowing DC is "the best" by default.

DC is one of the greatest fighters of all time. He's got a sleepy style. That's the only reason he's not considered one of the GOAT. He's 19-1 and never been threatened. Minus the JJ fight of course. JJ is the goat and it's not even remotely close from my pov.

You're spot on. There's a reason that DC made that speech. That speech got him 2 money fights. JBJ will kill him. DC will win 80% against JM. He gets 2 for 1.

The fight game is different. You go into fights knowing if you can win or not. It's crazy. I promise. I mean a fight on paper 70-30 could drop to like 85-15 when it goes off....that's my edge in MMA betting. I can tell what's going on people's heads.....It's why AJ was retiring before his title fight. There's other angles to that too TBF. The return fight from retirement has money implications but that's a different level and one that SHOULD be factored in in his 'retirement'.

I was lucky enough to do a training clinic with Jimi a few years back. The lad is a beast and only coming into his own.

The problem he'll have is DC will hump him for 5 rounds. But if Jimi connects it'll be lights out.

Manuwa isn't light on his feet, though. He'd rather plant his feet and throw, which makes him a stationary target. Just cannon fodder, basically.

I'm tired of the Manuwa type of fighter.

I love clever fighters and he's not one of them by any stretch of the imagination.
