ah tolerance and understanding thank you, i am just waiting for pep now , understanding i know he has seen how much the ball is in the air , he has said so . and the tolerance the english game is built on having a rock in goal that the defense is built onDistribution and build-up is everything under Pep and it was Hart's biggest weakness.
I think Pep got rid of Joe because he saw him as a huge character who ran the dressing room and could potentially cause some stir if problems occurred. The same reason as why Pep got rid of Ronaldinho if I remember.
I loved Hart and do think he is a better goalkeeper than Bravo and Willy, but he isn't consistently world class and is capable of making as stupid an error as our current keepers.

Thing is Hart hardly seems to be pulling up trees in Torino. I really rated Hart but week in week out he had issues with distribution and his left side but somehow he's got better every week he's not played for us.
I think you are right about that.I think Hart's level dropped after our first title. In that first title winning year and in the early CL campaigns he was exceptional but little by little he seemed to be slightly less focussed and more error prone - might be just how I recall it but I don't think Hart has continued to develop as he's gotten older.

Hart (and I say this as a fan) definitely had that 'I've already made it' vibe to him and often produced 'distracted' performances, usually only really playing to his full potential in the big CL games.
tbh id rather just have hart back. i think hes a better keeper then ederson.
Ederson is better on the ball than Joe will ever be, not to mention he's much younger.
right, but everything else i think hart is better. harts only 30 ? its not exactly old for a keeper.
Hope to God this he succeeds with us. Problem with assessments based on being good on the ball is that it sometimes distracts us from assessing a GK properly as it concerns shot stopping. If he doesn't do well in the latter, the former would be of little consequence
