Arsenal(FA Cup Semi Final) Post Match Thread

Followed the same script as our other matches against big team. Poor refereeing, multiple chances missed and a conceding after taking our foot off the peddle.

Unfortunately we are unable to even hit the target when we shoot.
Today 20 shots with only 3 on target resulting in 1 goal.

Perhaps another 20 shots would have got us a draw or at least another 3 on target.

For heavens sake lets have some shooting practice.
Spot on apart from the Delph cracker I struggle to remember us scoring with a long range effort mainly because we hardly ever try them.

Our approach play is frankly turgid.

sane sterling and navas have a lot to answer for that as far as today is concerned....esp sane ...dont know what was up with him today....he seemed to lose all confidence

I'm trying to take mind off our defeat

can someone explain the 4th subsitute thing please? I'm so confused.
You made 4 subs?

New rules from this year. Q/f decided on day by e/t and pens and in the q/f, s/f and final a 4th sub allowed in extra time

Look we were unlucky, let's beat the rags on Thursday dippers have lost, so all in our own hands, win against the rags, top four secured;-)

Our approach work and possession game may be slow and predictable but it does give us many more shooting chances than our opponents.

We shoot often but are not up to their standard regarding accuracy so we do not score. If that part of our game improves we would score more goals and we would not need to look for excuses.

If's,but's,maybe's & almosts don't win games! Adapting to the oppositions game & scoring 1 more than they do will!!
Until we sort this bunch of wage thieves and primadonnas out, we will never progress.

The saddest thing I saw today was on the pitch after the final whistle. Pep approached Zaba to offer a hug and gets the brush off. Hope I'm not reading too much into that.
I love Zaba and I believe in our future under Pep.
On another day we could have been home and dry 3-1 winners and this thread would be cork popping.

1. Robbed by linesman
2. Penalty
3. Woodwork near misses
4.Arsenal hackers go unpunished

sigh...............
