Arsenal(FA Cup Semi Final) Post Match Thread

Bent officials,
Bravo in goals,
Navas at right back,
Clichy at left back,
De Bruyne on the pitch at all, has been poor for months,
Sterling back to his worst,
Taking off our one real goal threat,
some of the reasons why we lost today, pep could do nothing about the first one but he could have done a lot about the rest of them.
Would any other manager have done any worse with the squad this season? Somehow I doubt it.

Absolutely this. I have laboured this point on here and been blasted for it, perhaps @Damocles you merely expressed it more eloquently then I ever could!

you've probably been blasted for it because it's wrong. Good grief, the length you Church of Pep disciples will go to to excuse his underachievement this season is stunning yet at the same time, amusing

Tried and trusted mate, they don't even have to hide it anymore and the club does fuck all about it, my neighbor is a Rangers fan so is English neutral and even he just said the officals fucked you over there mate and they were blatant with it

Whilst bias may very well exist at even referee level I don´t think their assistance is necessary because we proved today what all motivated PL and CL teams already know that whilst our style of play generates chance after chance we will rarely trouble their goalie with our inaccurate shooting.

Therefore all they need to do is leave possession to us, wait for our mistakes then maximise the inevitable chance or chances they may get via shots on our goal that however feeble or misplaced stand a chance of getting a goal if directed within the goal framework.

Of course our defence is suspect but that would not matter if we solved the problem of getting shots on target.
I am hoping our inaccuracy is a problem but am beginning to think it is a fact of life with no solution, at least for this season.

He is culpable for this season along with those above him.

I not bravos biggest fan but did he really do anything wrong today ?

He doesn't need to. The fact that he has proved himself a poor keeper who would not get in any other premier league team is enough. The opposition players are filled with confidence as soon as they see him playing and know any shot on target is likely to beat him.

Never thoughts I'd say this but I can't wait for video refs to come into existence.
It's the only way to stop the officials cheating us out of results.
Really f****d off today!

I'm not arsed about losing in the fa cup sponsored by arsenal, I'm arsed about the bent officiating all season, fucking joke

I watched a replay on BT of the disallowed goal. When Sane crossed the ball, the linesman was level with the edge of the penalty area. Consequently it is factually impossible for him to see that the ball was out. If a linesman doesn't see something he can't give it. This for me is the clearest evidence of cheating in the many instances we have seen this season. I wish the club would seriously do something. It is just ruining any enjoyment when game after game you end up truly believing that you have been cheated. Small margins at the top levels in sport and we have no chance if this continues.

Might just be me but we seem to make it hard for ourselves. Would have helped if we got the incorrectly disallowed goal. Very frustrating not for the first time this season. Just think we need more time or all the best players in the world to perfect this. Still think we have a lot to be proud of, but it's often not the deserved who triumph. Beautiful chip from Agüero. Come back stronger City.

So, pep should walk into a panacea for management where everything is prepared for finishing touches, not being funny, but couldn't Harry Rednapp have done that?

Church of Pep!!! Hahaha, not been paying attention then have we? I'm not his biggest fan at all, I think he thinks he's shit hot.

The facts are though, the higher ups have stitched us up by having terrible recruitment policy, or lack of. 4 old fullbacks. 1 good striker, agieng midfield and a crock in the heart of defense...not one bit of that was addressed, and it should have been, knowing that Pep was coming for 3 years.

We basically still have last season's team plus Sane. Injuries have robbed us of two players who would have improved us over the season in Gundogan and Jesus but by and large we're still relying on Pellegrini and Mancini's players. Pep is trying to play his way when half the squad know they wont be here next season.

This summer is absolutely crucial, a make or break transfer window for Pep and Txiki.

not if howard webb gets the job, he was the only one who thought it wasnt a pen on aguero, even the pundits in the studio laughed at him

I posted on another thread that if Pep had rocked up at Manure and achieved the same outcome in his first season we'd be pissing our sides. Just waiting for them to start a SOP thread.
