The fans and players celebrations were very low key... suggesting to me they're all too fully aware a dry bumming awaits them

To be honest looking at that, you can see why video refs are needed. It's the accumulation of shit decisions that have killed us. However at 1-0 up with 20 to go we still couldn't see it out.
 
Toure, Otamendi and Clichy our best players today. For once, don't think any blame can be laid at Bravo. Brilliant finish by Aguero but not impressed at all with any of the three behind him.

The two chances that hit the woodwork...just pure bad luck. The Delph chance is the one to lose sleep over. A few other situations we could have made more of but that really was the moment.

Surprised at the number of people lambasting the officials over the disallowed goal - it's so marginal you surely cannot blame the linesman for getting that wrong.

Lack of attacking depth exposed yet again, surely would it not be better for Pep to put one of our young attackers on the bench instead of filling it with defensive options (1 striker, 1 winger, 2 CMs/DMs and 2 Full Backs doesn't really strike the right balance).

You do realise in the dim and distant past that we lost a Cup Final because in a similar situation, the ball was over the line from which a goal was scored?
I call it Karma.
 
Yaya may have earned a new contract today. Gave everything, still looked strong at the end and our most valuable player on the field today. No reason he can't be the midfield General next year, as long as he puts in the kind of shift he put in today.
 
Worst thing about it is it isnt surprising to lose in these circumstances.

Everything that could have gone wrong this game has happened every other game we have lost this season.

Shit biased ref, defensive mistakes and missed chances.

Nothing to do with City, other than being our opponent today. I meant Karma in the sense that for us and all teams, what goes around, comes around.

Good turn out today, btw, from City fans. I thought I read you weren't taking up your full allocation but for me it definitely looked like you did.

Pretty good tempered affair, too.

What i dont understand i why pep just doesnt seem to appreciate is the players he has at the minute are just not good enough to play his system. If he is as good as we are lead to believe why cant he adapt his system to maximise our players strengths? All the best managers do this but not pep. Regardless of who we play its the same system. I will bet my last pound when we play Leicester they will beat us again cos they will beat the press playing long balls over midfield for vardy to run behind defense and score, which is what they did to us at their place. If that happens then it show to me pep is either unwilling to change or just not that good tactically
