Seasoncard Renewals 2017/18

Thing is a 1 of game costs upwards from around £45 my season ticket was £300 last season 5% and it'll be £315 no brainier to renew.
It's the 1 off costs that means we don't sell out every game £45 upwards to watch some of the teams this season is a piss take. Season tickets aren't a bad price ,mine was 600 this season including premium but if the club raise prices I will bin premium. I won't give up my seat just yet as I go to most games so it would be a lot more expensive to do so.

All third tiers prices should be capped at £500 max

Same here, I'd get to far fewer home games if I had to fork out the matchday prices, my S/T is relatively good value for the money. Platinum will definitely go if there is an increase and as much as I enjoy the League Cup I now work a lot in the evenings and so will seriously consider binning that Cup scheme as I'd still get a Final ticket outside the Cup scheme with my points, which wouldn't apply to a CL Final.

The club is making a profit, a healthy profit in fact! with cooperate income set to rise for the 2017-2018 with new tunnel club etc. I'm very disappointing with the price increase if this is true.

The club are hitting the ordinary fans again and with no trophies this season its hard to justify the rise.

I would live to know the reasoning behind it - Keep it real city.

You have to laugh at the club charging nearly £60 for match day tickets against the mighty Leicester, I cant see a rethink on prices across season tickets, citizens memberships and the general cost of attending whilst the likes of Soriano are at the helm he's picking us up by our legs and emptying the money out of our pockets.

They have to announce it soon and with only a drubbing of the rags likely to soften the blow it's not looking good.

If the 5% rise is true, that's another £30+ rise for me.

My season ticket used to be £450. Now it will be close to £700.

Out if the league and FA Cup schemes, as I've decided not to do Wembley again. 16.5 hour day and £300 for 3 of us for the semi-final. If City had reached the final, that would have been another £300. £600 so the FA can get their money back on Wembley. Not a chance again. If we get in the CL I'll stay in the cup scheme only for the away trips. If we don't get in the CL, oh well, more money saved. As for going platinum, I'm falling further behind in the points system. Can't make all the away games. Do as many as I can, but with the likes of Watford starting at 19,000 points, it's getting harder to get an away ticket, especially with more away tickets going to other sources courtesy of the club.

In the end I will just buy a season ticket, so in theory the club will lose my platinum money and cup schemes money. That £30+ rise on-going now looks a very expensive mistake by the club.

No League Cup money.
No FA Cup money.
Pick and choose CL home games. No CL away games.
No platinum season ticket.
No drinks inside the ground for those matches. Buy at least 2 drinks bar the CL matches each home match.

What can I do with an extra £1000 a year in my pocket?(random figure)
You could watch the rags every other week like in the old days,no problem getting a s/c there ? :+)

We will also bin the league cup scheme as like you would get tickets for a final on our points .

If the bods at City aren't reading this thread, they will be in for a shock in the coming seasons, with more and more fans not going, dropping platinum, the cup schemes, etc. And with attendances down, I don't care what the figures say, empty seats are visible at every home game, City will be slowly but surely getting less and less matchday income. And the only way to get around that is to increase prices across the board on season tickets, matchday tickets, food, drink, etc. A vicious circle is being formed by those running the club.

But it's OK, because when Sheikh Mansour or Khalddon visit next, or today, the fleet of limos will be greeted by City officials, security reserved for politicians and royalty, and free hospitality that we can only dream of on the packed concourses and at the over priced and bars. And that's after we're stood outside in the queues for 30 minutes waiting to be searched before being allowed into the stadium.

And joking apart, there seems to be absolutely loads of staff, pitch side, tunnel, surrounding areas,I mean wtf do they all do.

Watch tunnel cam v Hull for instance, now I'm not just singling this fella out,but there is a guy in a suit that keeps walking up and down the tunnel during the game.what for ?

Then when we scored he trotted back up it to stand alongside stewards,to look up at the stands of everyone cheering,I mean what is the actual point of his job, even more so that warrants him wearing a suit, shirt and tie,it's the little things behind the scenes that fuck me off with our place, all at a cost as well, that being my main point.

We have always been a shambles, internally,we only need to point at the ticket office for that to be summed up,but just too many suits knocking around these days, and as I say I beg the question,What the fuck for ?

On a personal level I cannot complain at my season ticket price (£299) but for me I do not get the same amount of enjoyment out of the game as much as I use too and when I factor in the transport costs, holidays lost I cannot say it's value for money.

A quick calculation, of ticket costs for this month equals £130 for Arsenal x 2, Hull, United, Southampton.

Transport costs £80 petrol for Hull, £61 train today, £15 train to Southampton, £40 Cup semi final, £10 shared petrol costs Arsenal away. Total £216.

Have I got value for money for that? Definitely not, particularly when you consider the things you are sacrificing. Will sign up again this year but may reconsider next close season.

Oh and another thing as well, you can bet your bottom dollar that there will be 2/3 rags sat in front of me in our block tonight, another point I have raised with the club,

This season alone, there have been,Everton,Spurs,Boro sat in the "spare/empty" seats, directly in front of us,Boro was a family which kept very still and quiet, the Evertonians, well one was quiet, other had a bit to say,I noticed when Lukaku scored he did everything but jump up,same really with the 2 Spurs guys, one of them even had a scarf in his pocket ffs.

I notified City and they emailed me back to say they would check cctv ??? What for ? there was no trouble as such,my point was they were selling tickets to away fans in a home section of the ground, but if there are 2 United fans in them tonight, and I bet there is,there will inevitably be trouble, well if they score that is.

This is CB Level 2 as well for those that were wondering where

How about this ?

So how would you feel that the 5% increase includes domestic cup games for all season tickets holders like what they do at other premier league clubs?

no thanks

i'm not in the fa cup or league cup schemes and don't want to be, i'll pick and choose those games if i want to go and will still get a ticket to a final with my points on or off the scheme

Trouble with this idea is we get drawn away every round so there wouldn't be a benefit.

For me it's not just about cost... for me I really think there's an agenda in the game. In the big games this year there's been too many questionable decisions that can't all be put down to officials being incompetent. If I have to name one individual - I think Michael Oliver has been following an agenda - a review of his performances would make shocking reading. All told there's a bit of a stench about modern football, bad refereeing, the cringe worthy 'match day experience'. The closeness to the club is gone - i think we have sold our souls. I have some soul searching to do this summer, City for me is a habit after 30 years but I don't enjoy it like I used to.

Hopefully should be frozen again which will technically be a reduction for me & probably many more as City can fook off with the Platinum shite, gold all the way from now on.

Got I feeling they will put them up otherwise they'd been announcing it in the e-mail just sent. Do not see how they can possible justify it though as the huge tv deal kicks in at the end of this season. Will renew as I'm lucky and can afford to but any increase is probably meaning others will not and won't help the empty Etihad jibes, in my opion should be reducing prices and have the ground bursting to the seams and then expand the North Stand.
