Seasoncard Renewals 2017/18

Ours have increased it shows direct debit for gold but under platinum what we have had it says direct debit unavailable?

So £10 in SS3 (about the cost give or take of all the tat they'll send us). We need a box on the renewal procedure for a reduction if we don't want it!!!!

Going from Platinum to Gold so for the second season in 3 I've had to move seats/downgrade.

Hardly the end of the world that though is it
That's the attitude that lets them get away with it, and is why they do it. It's the principle. I'm not arsed about having a picture or not on my ticket. What I'm arsed about is getting closer and closer to not being able to go, for me and many other blues.

its gone up pretty much every year now, apart from last season. the club dont give a shit about our core fan base. pep wants a better atmosphere and how is this going to help that. the biggest tv deal ever, all the other top clubs freezing prices. what is the point of increasing it.

i can't wait for the usual response from some of ours fans. 'well its only 15 quid, that nothing really'......

So say we have 40,000 season ticket holders at an average price increase of £15, that's an extra £600,000 generated by season ticket sales.

Is that really worth the ill feeling with fans, and the negative press (that we'll rightly get) considering we seem to be one of the only ones rising prices this year?
It will trim away anyone who really can't afford a rise (and presumably won't spend anything in the shop etc) allowing seats to be available for someone on the waiting list who might have more spare cash. A slow churn.

The increase is fairly small and on the face of it barely seems worth getting too worked up about. But on the other hand, revenue is so high for the club these days and ticket prices make up a relatively small percentage of that so it just feels like for the club it is a fairly pointless move in financial terms that will do nothing other than piss fans off as a matter of principle. Odd.

That's the classic tactic though. Small increases that individually perhaps aren't worth getting worked up about. But over a few years the increases add up. Suspect many will still renew but the financial benefit to the club for doing this, vs the bad feeling it causes, doesn't make sense.

No doubt we'll receive a shiny pack with a nice pin badge to justify the increase.
