Seasoncard Renewals 2017/18

I sit in CBL3 and I`m now paying an extra £10 PER SEASON ... not a game ... for the FULL SEASON.
Well played City.

well played city ? despite the fact there is no need at all to increase them, with all the extra revenue the club is making and near enough every other club freezing prices. yea well done city !

I don't get why people can't see that any rise is a bit of a piss take regardless of how cheap or how much value for money they think they currently are. I'm not too bad as this will be the first season my lad will be paying for his own, so in that regards i'm £430 better off but the club should actually be REDUCING ticket prices as there's no need for the increase with the amount of money in the game.

Poor show by the club and indefensible imo.

I agree it's a piss take. Freezing the prices would have been fair and I expected reductions for 17 to 21 year olds. I haven't caught up with the last 20 pages but I assume nothing like that has happened.

I was going to buy r kid a season card but I'm thinking twice about it after these increases. I see it like you, It's more about the poor message the club are giving out (rather than the cost impact) in these days of record revenues.

Arsenal's spread for matchday tickets is £27 to £97, City's is £35 to £58. Sorry PB but you're being a little disingenuous there.

No I'm not. I compared a match-day ticket where I sit (which will be £58 for the Leicester game) with a similarly sited ticket at Arsenal, which would be £36.50. Arsenal work on a Category A, B & C system with A games very expensive whereas B & C games are very much cheaper. Leicester is a Category B game at The Emirates so I'm comparing like for like. It's £46 for a seat in 109 for Palace and the same price as Leicester (£36.50) at Arsenal.

Hahaha... Just had the "personal" email "from" Danny Wilson informing me how to renew.
Sent to me at 12:30pm

I cancelled the renew at 10am....

Like I said, you are just a number on a screen. Treated only differently by the size of your bank balance.

If this isn't MCFC then I don't know what is

McDonalds Cafe Football Club.

I thinks Ric's tweet on the home page perfectly sums up the increase:

"Apropos of nothing, the revenue generated from the season ticket increases is likely to be less than Wilfrid Bony earns in a month"

Big chance lost for some positive media for a change as well as continuing the process of alienating local fans.
The guys running our club are so far out of touch. God only knows what the increases would have been if Pep had not asked for those in charge to improve the atmosphere and attendances.

this is the blackpool and fylde branch Facebook response to the 1894 statement " We'll done the 1894 Group, you spend the whole season promoting MCFC and in one fell swoop destroy all of that great PR by talking to the Daily Fail in derogatory terms about a 2% increase, the first in two years!"

i think they've had too much rock.

Well played City.

Reel em in Oakie.

Can you pay for my season ticket as well. £665.

While you're at it, pay for my cup schemses as well.

Throw in 2 beers a match, and there's no diffference to this season.

Unfortunately for City they won't be getting no cup scheme money, or beer money next season.

I'm sure City can absurb that loss from me, but if 1000's of other fellow blues did that, it would soon hit home. PL football and maybe CL football for me next season. City can forget any EL football if we drop into that.

"Watching City on a Thursday night, playing TNS cos we're shite, after a season ticket rise!" ;-)

Haven't they got their own team to support?

Bit of help required please a freind wants to change the details on his card he and his dad use to share but his dad now unable to go and is getting OAP age so my friend would have an Oap card but be an adult. City now saying u can't change and will have to give card up for someone on waiting list is that right? I thought u just automatically lose ur loyalty points but can change details??? Any help would be greatly recieved thanks!!!!!
That used to be case. When my sister gave up hers 10 years ago I took it on for my son. All above board. Just lost points. Its obviously changed. Now we have myself, my son and a friend in a row. I was assuming if there ever comes a time when my 16 year old son doesn't want to go, that my husband would have it. But maybe not.

Lol was waiting for this comment.
In fairness, I've met some of this branch members and they were from MCR originally.

As for the comment, they too are out of touch with the regular City matchgoer if they don't see the issue with inflated prices.

I suppose most OSC's are just happy with their ticket priority and fuck everyone else.

A proper fan driven stand up is needed against the club, and I can't see this happening from the likes of an OSC as they are so far up the corporate side of the clubs ass... Due to ticket distributions, and that the OSC is given the press room to host meetings

Gone from £380 to £390 so paying via direct debit its £1 more each month which is fuck all.

On the other hand its going to make them next to nothing compared to TV deals and sponsorships and many will fuck it off and drop platinum and/or cup schemes.

This will also make the atmosphere worse. Poor from City

How many times does this need repeating?

CFG aren't assed about the Atmosphere.

They are bothered about Revenue, Profit, Loss.

They'll say they are bothered about it yet actions say otherwise... They take measures to decrease the atmosphere, making it more corporate and sanitised.

Just from looking at my email it appears the price of my season ticket (£299) remains the same, so I cannot comlain. Like others I just cannot understand the rationale of the club to increase the prices. It is peanuts but understandably loses any goodwill with fans feeling the pinch.

Laughable also when you consider how much monmey has been wasted year after year in the transfer market and on wages for players who rarely contribute.
