PEP: The team was more inconsistent than consistent this season. That’s why we suffered. I realise how they play here and I have to adapt.

PEP: I thought home games would be easier than away. We will try to keep our away record and improve our home record next season.

MEN backtracking on their initial report that Silva was out.....

Silva probably out*

Some confusion on Silva - here is the quote.

“I don’t know if he will be ready for tomorrow. Yesterday was his first training session. He is still not perfect. “

That is why you get the exact quotes from pep

Its no longer about getting an early goal, we have to get an early couple of goals! That's the only way to change their mindset from having a go on the counter to switching the full attention to their Hull game. Jesus and his disciples Leroy and Raheem to do all the damage 3-0 City

Cheers Karen... Next time I'll stay clear of the MEN and just wait for you to do your stuff lol

You can include the BBC also......

Boss Pep Guardiola also confirmed striker Sergio Aguero will miss Saturday's game with Crystal Palace.

The Argentina international injured himself against Middlesbrough, but could return for their next Premier League match on 13 May.

"Aguero is out. Hopefully he'll be back for Leicester, but this game no," said Guardiola.

"John Stones and Bravo are out, Claudio until next season and John maybe in the next games [can return]."

Guardiola also confirmed David Silva will miss the Palace game.

Might need that and more, I hope we are not in the Europa League come 3 tomorrow.

I'm not one for being over optimistic before games, but we should be more than capable of beating Palace.

Caballero, Zabaleta, Kompany, Otamendi, Kolarov, Fernandhino, Yaya, De Bruyne, Sterling, Jesus, Sane isnt a bad line up. We might be a bit light on the subs bench.

looking like a patched up team and lets hope palace don't turn up and want a fight. very game big for me and the 3 points at this stage will be needed to keep the both red scum of our backs but we should have enough to beat palace at home

No PEP its got to improve tomorrow & the other games that,s left mate..

It does have to improve.
Keeps covering his back with this ' i need to learn' and 'i need to adapt' line.

Needs to stop us playing boring passive football and obvious slow forward play for a start.

He can only work with what he has. Let's see what City play like when Jesus is up front with Silva in behind. This City team has lacked pace in the penalty area all season. I bet you'll see a change now Jesus is back. I've been looking forward to him returning ever since he got injured.

Think he should already have known/worked it out this months ago,

He can only work with what he's got but what he already has isn't to shabby...

Hes the one playing Navas at right back.
De Bruyne and Fernandinho all over the show each week.
Bravo in goal.
Nolito never playing (why buy him).

He hasn't helped himself. I'm a big Pep fan though. Not a hater or against him.
I just think he doesn't help himself at times and i feel this year (again) we have massively underachieved.

Solution - another £200m spent on players.... Hmmmm
