TV Series

I've had Taboo with Tom Hardy on my DVR for months. I just watched the first episode and I was blown away. Far better than I was expecting, even with the high IMDB score.

TV mini series (3 episodes) made last year but I missed it. True story of Scottish killer Peter Manuel, played by Martin Compston, I've always struggled with his role in Line of Duty, just doesn't quite suit the part for me. Different again in this, maybe more at home speaking his native tongue but he was quality in this.
 
Ah, I was looking at a disc of stuff recorded off TV months ago last night and could not remember what In Plain Sight was about.
 
Not sure if Love/Hate has been mentioned but it's up there with the best. It's an Irish The Wire but darker and probably more violent. What's not to like?
 
Thought I would give 'The Presidents Show' a second viewing after thinking the first show tried way too hard to be awesome and I'm glad I did!

Much more relaxed show and actually made me laugh instead of cringe!!

Keep it up though there seems to be a shelf limit on such a thing!!

Best thing British tv had produced recently and a second series confirmed.

Sorry, you should have continued avoiding it. Awful awful awful. Final episode on imdb is at 4.8 and that seems generous.
 
So The Leftovers is one of my favorite shows of all-time. I told myself I was going to hold out and binge watch the final season once the finale aired. Lasted three weeks :(. Finished them all in a day. Very solid 8.5 - 9 so far. Not as good as S2 .. yet .. but still excellent.
