Leicester post match thread

Massive elephant in the room.. De Bruyne. Some really worrying performances over last few month (apart from Palace).

Hope we give Yaya, Zaba and possibly Aguero the send off they deserve on Tuesday.

Travesty if Kun goes. Love Jesus but just at the moment he isn't ready to fill Aguero's boots. The guy is pure class & puts the fear of god in the opposition

What's more - he's a nice guy & seems to love the club.

Yet blame Pep when we lost every game because of it ;-)

Well he just won't listen to me when I shout.............. although I'm sure he heard me today when I shouted bring Zaba on because he then brought Zaba on!! ;-)

Don't forget Franny, and we have neve replaced Alan Oakes :)

Too true. Oh we could have the team of the century at this rate. :-) Because don't forget Lakey another of my heroes. :-)

I feel exactly the same. Going to be hard to accept but I think Pep has made his mind up. Aguero will never lose that goal scoring touch and that's why it's going to be so hard to let him go. But one thing he has defeinly lost is that yard, if not two, of pace he used to have. Maybe that's why Pep is happy to replace him with Jesus, Sanchez, Mbappe.

Sky went with the plucky underdogs deserved more from the game, they are the current champions, how about they play like it

Always good to piss of quinn mind

3 pages in and not one person has put the referees performance 2nd half and accepted he changed the fucking game for them.

Madely is an out and out fucking wank referee.

We played well, especially first half and defended very well, Clichy apart for the penalty.

7 mins injury time and he plays nearly 10 pmsl.

Cheating **** and well done the players over coming 12 men again.

Pep was fucking livid about it.
If it wasnt for the ref their pen would have stood so i say well done that ref! I know there is some doubt about whether the tackle was outside the box or not but notwithstanding that still a damn fine decision. About time a decision went our way

I know what you mean but he's still scored (30?) goals this season despite being banned for 7 games

Yeah, he's a freak. One of the best I've ever seen live. Absolutely love him to bits.

The latter is just a kid on a good run,we need experience to go with youth,Sanchez would not be a direct swap for sergio and the kid is too young to carry the attack as is jesus

No doubt but then again a decent ref wouldn't have given it because it was outside of the box.

1 out of 2 for the useless fat fucking cheat wasnt bad though i guess.

Haven't seen any reports that have noted the foul for Leicesters pen was outside the box.

Yep thats the Narrative the media keep doing! Say that was us who got that penalty it be a talking point they'll be all over it like sterling supposed to be ofside not shut up about it

I don't mind winning ugly at all.. Neville used to do it! But Debruyne should of been hooked off long before he was. Constantly giving the ball away and making wrong decisions. A year ago, I genuinely thought we'd bought a potential global superstar..now I'm really not so sure. Lacking so much confidence. Is it Peps way of playing him? I'm not saying he's finished, by no means, because he's produced some magical moments of late( the cross a few weeks ago for Aguero especially) but they've been few n far between. I just hope he gets his head down and shows us the real KDB. But 3 points today and dare I say it.. a Ickle bit of lady luck on our side. CTID

I agree with you Karen, I'd 100% be sticking with Kun. Just have a feeling Pep will get rid this summer. Going to be horrible.

Twice as many shots
Far better chances
Two thirds possession
Three times as many corners
Penalty wrongly awarded against

And yet you still believe Leicester deserved a win. Find me one write up that agrees with you.[/QUOT
You do know why todays newspapers are tomorrows fish and chip wrappers ? , never believe a word written about us in the media , and you know the incorrect penalty decision will be glossed over by the media , so why read that biased sh*te , i don't need some hack with an agenda to offer an opinion of my teams performance. Its quite simple really you disagree with my version of todays performance ,fair enough it would be boring if we all thought the same , and if your skipping about today's efforts by our team , i am pleased for you.

I am guessing we will know more after the match on Tuesday, if he is off then I suspect it will be clear to see on his face after the final whistle.

Just got back watched the sterling/toure interview, then listened to that sourface **** pardew, what a pathetic horrible twat he is sterling offside etc their pen a def penalty. Then the best yet they were unlucky on their penalty no dickhead he double kicked it so can not stand , you could here the venom in his voice against us , stemming from calling pellars a fucking old **** and everything since. And Quinn the **** sat there agreeing with his every word, what a pair of wankers to host the show

The offside was debatable. If it was against us I would have wanted it. It was definitely a pen and they were unlucky. Not with the decision with the fact he slipped and he touched it twice. Madley was rubbish but he got the big calls correct. So pleased he spotted the double touch. Another ref on another day...

Gritty, not pretty. We deserved the three points over the whole match, there's no doubt whatsover in my mind about that. But I think in various ways we got the run of the ball today. It was owed us by Someone Up There.
Difficult game to referee, frankly, I think he got it mostly right.
We move on. Third place and no faffing around qualifying is now within our grasp.

It was more pardews hatred of us which shone through

played well for majority of the first half but the second half was pretty awful....but we also got a slice of luck with the penalty (it wasn't inside the box but it was close to call and the ref just got it wrong - but he spotted the double kick so fair play to him...sime refs wouldn't have had the guts to give it and some wouldn't even have spotted it)

The ferna elbow was purely accidental regardless of what the media make it out to be....the late tackle by Albrighton moments before he was subbed however was premeditated and deliberate....but I wonder which the media will draw more attention to??????

Kompany played very well again....not as solid from Ottomendi this week but still good.....

Clichy was having a good game until the stupid tackle!

KDB ....i thought he was poor again....a number of times he got himself into great positions but his passing was way off again.....one great cross in the first half but its not enough......should have been dropped a number of games ago.....

Yaya and silva were pert much their normal selves

Sterling - needs to do more....he gets fouled a lot and doesn't get the protection from the refs but he needs to be more of a goal threat and I just don't see that ever happening.

Sane -flashes of brilliance but needs the consisteny - greedy on two occasions where a pass would have led to a goal (one int he first half where he scuffed it well wide and a lay back for Yaya was on and one right at the end where run was in oceans of space (think Pep went mad at him on that one)....still he got a great assist as well for the first goal

GJ - thought he struggled while trying hard....needs to toughen up a bit as well and stop complaining about the physical nature of the game. However his penalty was coolness personified and it shows what a mature head he has on his shoulders (nice touch from Yaya to le this have it......handing over the mantle so to speak maybe??)
